Chart notes
DIVA CAT well placed in the early going off the inside, chased three wide through the turn, drew alongside MAYACAMA in upper stretch, hounded that rival into the final sixteenth, dug in late and wore down the runner-up. MAYACAMA pressed the pace from outside, headed the leader at the quarter pole, took over into the lane, put away MISS MICHE LADA in upper stretch while receiving the challenge from DIVA CAT, resisted into deep stretch and yielded grudgingly late. MISS MICHE LADA showed the way early under pressure from MAYACAMA, headed by that rival at the quarter pole, yielded in upper stretch and churned on for a clear third. UPTOWN PREACHER stumbled badly leaving the gate, climbed up the backstretch, had one rival beat into the turn, chased three wide turning for home and kept on for a minor award. COPPERHEAD FEVER coaxed from the gate, chased off the pace, went two wide into the turn, moved to the inside then raced a bit off the rail into the lane and failed to menace. PONDICHERRY raced up close from inside, came under a ride on the turn, asked left handed into the drive and faded. TIZ LISSETT traveled near the back then trailed four wide into the turn, angled to the two path around the bend and could not make an impact.
