Chart notes
COURAGEOUS CUPID pressed the early pace, racing behind GRAND SAM, forwardly placed throughout, drove clear down the home stretch and was kept to the task. GRAND SAM went to the front, drove clear, saved ground, couldn't keep up with the winner late, but was best of others. MIDNIGHT AVENGER raced within contention, was close throughout and proved no match for the top two. TWO WEEKS NOTICE pressed the early pace, faded and was no threat late. MUNCLE raced near the back in the beginning, saved ground around the second turn, improved position, but was no factor. RIP RULES broke a step slow, raced near the back and was never close. DISTORTED MATH broke a step slow, raced six wide around the first turn, pressed the early pace and faded. TOMS LUCKY MO void of early speed and was never a threat. ALINES VALENTINE was up close in the early going, dropped back and was outrun.
