Chart notes
IM THE DIRECTOR dueled outside down the back stretch, kicked clear of rival around the far turn, took up the battle with outside rival through the final sixteenth, under an all out drive and racing on the left lead, was able to fend off the challenger to get the nod. BAIL IS DENIED tracked inside and off the duel, upped the tempo three wide around the far turn, drifted out into the lane, straitened up to engage IM THE DIRECTOR from the outside, battled with that rival through the stretch, fought on gamely through the wire. BOLD ROCK bumped at the start, raced off the pace down the back stretch, roused into action leaving the quarter pole, put in a long sustained bid and closed in for the show. THIS JUICE B LOOSE bumped at the start, raced off the pace and four wide down the backside, under a drive and outside leaving the quarter pole, came up empty through the lane. JOHN'S NOTION stumbled inward and bumped BOLD ROCK at the start, took up the duel along the inside down the back stretch, lost ground nearing the three sixteenth marker, weakened through the stretch. There was a jockeys objection in this race, the rider of BAIL IS DENIED claimed foul against the rider of IM THE DIRECTOR for interference nearing the eighth pole, after the stewards review, the results were unchanged.
