Chart notes
HEARD ON THESTREET was urged along off the pace, drafted inside while just behind the leaders on the turn, shifted to the three path while asked with a clear opening at the quarter-pole, chased the leaders in upper stretch, made a bid into the final furlong, gained the lead outside the sixteenth-pole and edged clear under strong urging to prevail. NEUSCHWANSTEIN showed speed then pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the two path on the turn, gained a short lead in upper stretch, led under a drive until outside the sixteenth-pole then was overtaken while able to get the place. AUGUSTINE RED went to the front, showed the way on the inside of a rival, vied along the rail on the turn, lost the lead in upper stretch, lugged in under extra right-rein pressure in the drive and weakened but was clear for the show. SIN NOMBRE was urged along off the pace, chased in the five path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the six path and tired. SQUINTS was urged along between horses, chased in the three path on the turn and also tired. INDIANQUEST was urged along on the outside, went three to four wide on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and failed to threaten. STEADY PROGRESS was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, raced in the two path on the turn and was no factor. DADS GOOD RUNNER was urged along between horses, dropped back in the four path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and capitulated.
