Chart notes
EMPIRE'S FIRE was bumped and shuffled back at the start then was allowed to settle, moved up along the inside to gain the lead nearing the quarter pole, opened a clear lead nearing the eighth pole and maintained a safe advantage. HENRY MAC broke out to bump DOUGIE D ORO then was reserved off the pace, moved up 3-wide on the turn, lacked room racing behind a wall of horses from the quarter pole to near the eighth pole, angled out to split rivals at that point and finished fast when clear. STARTDFROMDABOTTOM vied with COUNTRY CLUB BOBBY for the lead while racing three-wide, responded to pressure during the drive and held on well for third. COUNTRY CLUB BOBBY vied for the lead with STARTDFROMDABOTTOM while racing removed from the rail and weakened during the drive. MR LOOOCH broke in bumping with EMPIRE'S FIRE then was unhurried, came five-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. DOUGIE D ORO bobbled at the start then was bumped at the start by HENRY MAC then was forwardly placed into the stretch while racing four-wide and tired late.
