Chart notes
ICETECA void of early speed, had an outside trip, made a late wide rally and drove clear. VELOCIDAD pressed the early pace, forwardly placed throughout, finished inside, proved no match for the winner, but held on for second. CHIEF HARLAN raced within contention, was close throughout and proved third best, being outfinished for second. MY UNCLE BILLY raced in the middle of the pack, made a bid, took the lead down the final stretch and hung. WHATDIDWEDO lacked early speed, came around the final turn on the outside, made a wide gain, but was no factor. IRISH MOON was bumped at the start, racing in the middle of the pack, put forth an even effort and lacked a bid. LOUISIANA BARGAIN broke in, bumped, lacked early speed and was never a threat. KAT'S SOLDIER raced within striking distance and faded on the inside. ASTROLOGY WONOWON went to the front, drove clear, saved ground and was finished early.
