Chart notes
GIRAMONTE showed the way along the two path and then widened some and was ridden out. OVER THE CAP unhurried along the two path, responded inside and earned the place. UTAMARO in hand four wide, five wide into the lane, asked, bid and hung. PAPI ON ICE tracked four wide, five wide into the lane, drifted in bothering SEATIGER at the sixteenth pole and outran that one to the wire. SEATIGER unhurried along the three path, two path on the last turn, appeared in tight at the sixteenths pole, took up sharply losing all chance. PURECRAZIGROOVE close up along the rail while rated, dropped back into the last turn, six wide into the lane and finished wide. Inquiry was posted concerning the stretch run. Also a claim of foul was lodged by the rider of SEATIGER against PAPI ON ICE for interference at the sixteenths pole, resulted in the disqualification of PAPI ON ICE from fourth to fifth.
