Chart notes
HEADS OR TAILS took the nod three wide at the nine sixteenths pole and rated a slim lead, was met past the seven sixteenths and dueled to draw clear toward the quarter, rounded the far turn near the rail and was kept sharp through the lane. OVERLY CRITICAL settled in the three path the first turn, left the turn outside and improved steadily from that point, raced in the three path on the far turn, moved to the outside toward the head of the lane and dueled to clear second later yards. THE KHOZAN ONE raced with the pace inside and had a brief slim lead past the seven sixteenths pole, was met approaching the five sixteenths then steadied at the rail toward the quarter, dug in from that point and dueled through the stretch for third. STOMPING MOON raced off the rail the first turn, moved to the outside into the backstretch and gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path then flattened in the stretch duel for third. LOST WEEKEND saved ground on the first turn, picked up the chase approaching the seven sixteenths pole and raced near the rail on the far turn, then flattened stride inside the sixteenth pole. FLY FLY AWAY raced with the pace two deep while between horses, gave chase approaching the seven sixteenths pole, faded through the backstretch and was eased in the lane.
