Chart notes
DRILL CITY tracked the leaders down the backside, commenced a steady rally on the turn, angled out to the clear in mid-stretch and closed well to be going away in deep stretch. BE AN EDDIE dueled on the lead from the inside to the top of the lane, shook off the pressers in upper stretch and finished willingly to hold the place while no match for the winner late. JOHN FITZGERALD prompted the pace down the backside, moved to challenge at the three-eighths pole to bid for the lead through the turn while racing five wide, kept-on through the lane while unable to get passed the runner-up. WILD DOMAIN pressed the pace from between rivals to the top of the stretch and weakened late in the drive. DRILL EM went evenly never posing a threat. NATIONAL PUNCHLINE trailed theoughout while making up some ground in the stretch.
