Chart notes
ALTER THE STARS stalked the leaders through the turn, rallied from five wide in upper stretch to take command and pull clear through the lane. STAY FAITHFUL reserved off the pace in hand to midway on the turn, made a steady advance when called upon nearing the quarter pole and finished willingly to be second best. GHOST PLAZA set a pressured pace from the inside to the quarter pole, briefly shook free turning for home and weakened inside the eighth pole. MALI BALI was unhurried early to be well off the pace into the turn and rallied mildly passed weaker rivals coming home. TORREY STREET pressed the pace from three wide to the quarter pole and tired in the stretch. HOLIDAY LIGHTS showed brief speed to be in early contention and faded on the turn. ELKO shufffled a bit between rivals to drop to the back of the pack away from the gate and trailed throughout as a non-factor.
