Chart notes
NOTABLE BOB (CHI) settled inside, awaited room at the quarter pole, angled out, collared the leader and edged off. AHSAD saved ground close up, swung wide into the lane, led and continued willingly. CRYPT trailed early then split rivals in the stretch and closed well. MASTERMIND prompted the pace outside, vied between foes on the turn then weakened. BACK EAST hustled to a narrow advantage inside for half a mile and faltered. STAR WEAVER advanced wide on the turn then proved empty in the stretch. STRIKING SPEED joined the pacesetters three wide after half a mile then stopped. SEMPER FIDELIS flashed speed initial quarter mile then gave way readily.
