Chart notes
REDEMPTION TIME laid off of the pace along the inside, shifted out to the four path nearing the backstretch, ranged up outside of rivals into the far turn, bid four deep while creeping closer in the five path leaving the three furlong pole, took charge in upper stretch and drove clear. BRILLIANT MAN was slow into stride, trailed in the two path, then in the three to four path around the far turn before tipping to the six path into the lane, ran on well to bid for place at the sixteenth pole and edged that position late. LAUGHNOWCRYLATER vied for the lead with an outer rival, then inside of a trio of foes around the far turn, got bested by his widest challenger in upper stretch, dug in for place from an outer bidder at the sixteenth pole but gave in late. HOLLYWOOD ENDING stalked four to three wide into the backstretch, bid along with an outer rival passing the three furlong pole, but got outkicked by that one in upper stretch and gave way between horses. BLACK IRON bobbled slightly at the start, tracked tucking from the three to two path and behind the leaders around the first turn, chased around the far turn, tipped out to the three path into the lane and failed to factor. GORILLA TREK vied for the lead two wide, then between horses around the far turn and weakened entering the lane.
