Chart notes
HIGGINS BOAT rated along early under a hold from the inside, raced two wide between near the three sixteenths pole and finished well to edge clear late under strong handling. SMOKEY MANDATE dropped back early, moved up three to five wide around the far tur and finished well to rally up for the place position. STEADY ON set all the pace to cross over and control the pace, pressured through the far turn and weakened a bit in the latter stages. LE GRIS settled off the pace, raced five to six wide around the far turn and moved up to improve position late. KING OF THE PALACE settled off the early pace, swung wide into the lane but needed more in the drive. EFF THIRTY FIVE was unhurried early, raced from the inside into the upper stretch and had no final bid in the drive. GENTLE SOUL dropped back early, was six wide between near the three sixteenths pole and had no late rally. BERRETTINI broke to the outside, bumped with rival, tracked the early leader two deep and faded. RECKER POINT stalked the pace three deep and gave way. RED ROAD stalked the pace from the inside and failed to sustain a bid. RUNNIN MUNNIN raced with the second flight early, was five wide into the upper stretch and lacked a bid.
