Chart notes
BARONESS BOURBON settled at the rear on the far outside, moved in late on the backstretch, dropped to the rail into the turn, saved ground in a good striking position on the bend, shifted to the two path then came between horses into upper stretch, moved out over heels when the leader drifted near the furlong marker, made a bid into the final sixteenth and got up under strong handling to narrowly prevail. ACCELERINA broke out but came away in front, showed speed then chased the pace, made a bid late on the backstretch, vied in the two to three path on the turn, took the lead outside the quarter-pole, drifted out outside the furlong marker, led into the final sixteenth, fought on well to the finish but was denied while able to get the place. LEM ME DRINK settled off the pace, rounded the turn in the two to three path, raced behind traffic late on the bend and into upper stretch, moved out inside the three-sixteenths pole and finished willingly for the show. LADY LAOBAN settled off the pace, moved up with five furlongs to run then was well positioned, drafted inside to the two path on the turn, shifted three wide into the stretch, pursued the leader in the drive and was out-kicked. BIG HAZEL was hustled from the gate, chased the pace on the outside, went around the turn in the three to four path and capitulated. DUCHESS OF DESTIN was hustled from the gate, moved up to get the lead then went clear near the three-quarter pole, vied inside a foe while along the rail on the turn, was asked just inside the three-eighths pole, passed the five-sixteenths under a strong hand-ride, lost the advantage outside the quarter-pole, turned into the stretch under the crop and tired. ALLEY'S SONG brushed the outside of the gate at the start, settled on the outside, was roused in the four to five path on the turn, dropped back while remaining on her inside lead in the stretch and weakened. JAY'S LOVE settled off the pace, moved in near the three-quarter pole then dropped to the rail later on the backstretch, came out into the turn, shifted from the two path to the four path midway through that bend, turned into the stretch in the six path and failed to threaten.
