Chart notes
PATRICIA ANN was reluctant to load, showed speed then pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the two path on the turn, took the lead into upper stretch, kicked clear inside the three-sixteenths pole and proved much the best under steady urging. KILLY START chased the pace on the outside, moved in with five furlongs to run, drafted in the two path on the turn, was roused in the three path into the stretch, pursued the winner under a drive into the final furlong and safely secured the place while no match for the winner. GORGEOUS GIRL showed speed then chased the pace, went around the turn in the three path, turned into the stretch in the four path and tired. SARIR went to the front, showed the way under pressure to her outside, vied along the rail on the turn, lost the lead in upper stretch and gave way. LADY MINE was taken up while awkwardly into stride, spotted the front several lengths, went around the turn in the four path, turned into the stretch in the five path and was no factor. PATTY BROWN EYES was urged along towards the rear, saved ground on the turn, came off the rail into the stretch, drifted in near the three-sixteenths pole, moved out around the furlong marker and was no threat.
