Chart notes
CHICKIETOWN STAR vied for the early lead, saved ground, drove clear down the stretch and was kept to the task. CRAFTROOM brushed at the start, raced within striking distance, made a wide bid, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. BEAT THE DOUBLE lacked early speed, made a steady gain and proved no match for the top two. COAL DANCER challenged for the early lead, steadied, being full of run, raced close throughout and lacked a finish. BABY JANE showed early speed, faded and finished evenly near the back. TAP IRON FIST brushed start, always raced near the back and showed little. TRIPLE FOUR brushed at the start, void of early speed, saved ground around the final turn, eased to wire and walked off.
