Chart notes
POP'S PEPPYSTEPER prompt the early leader two deep from the outside and drew off to be well clear under steady handling. RISING KOTO STAR tracked the early leader from the inside, dropped back a bit through the far turn, came on near the rail in the stretch drive and finished willingly to the wire. COLT'S BRIM dropped back off the early pace, swung wide into the lane and moved up late to improve position. CUSTOM CADILLAC stalked the pace, raced three to four wide between rivals in the stretch run and had not enough. CATALINA DAY showed good early speed from the inside and weakened the final eighth of a mile. FATHER MARK hard ridden from the outside four wide near the three eighths pole, raced six deep into the upper stretch and had no late rally. APRIORITY ROCKET was off slowly, vied three wide between through the far turn and tired.
