Chart notes
FORMIDABLE MAN stalked from inside, tipped out into the lane, bid from outside with a furlong left to run, took over at the sixteenth pole and edged away late. KING OF GOSFORD (GB) traveled in mid-pack on the inside, ridden along into the lane, moved off the fence while asked left handed, put in a mild late bid and gained second. DONEGAL MOMENTUM dueled for the lead from outside, cleared inner rival around the clubhouse turn, took pressure into the second bend, kicked clear from ROTHSCHILD approaching the quarter pole, cut the corner into the lane, tested by FORMIDABLE MAN at the eighth pole, relinquished in the final sixteenth and lost second. STAY HOT settled inside, hugged the rail to the stretch, rallied along the fence and missed third. CARSON'S RUN traveled in the two path near the back, three deep on the backstretch, spun four wide off the far turn and failed to threaten. BRITISH ISLES reserved in the two path outside a rival, between foes on the backstretch, roused at the quarter pole and needed to find more in the final furlong. ATITLAN steered to the inside racing at the back, eased out to the four path around the far turn, moved out further in the drive and improved position. TWIRLING POINT rated outside a rival early on, coaxed along in the two path on the far turn, tipped three wide leaving the bend and weakened. CATHAL (IRE) allowed to settle at the back outside a rival, went three wide into the far turn, eased out and entered the lane in the five path, tipped out further in the lane and was never a factor. ROTHSCHILD dueled for the lead from inside, ceded command around the clubhouse turn, remained close up stalking the leader in the middle stages, drew alongside once again into the far turn, could not keep up approaching the quarter pole, chased two wide into the drive and weakened. HEART HEADED got crowded a bit leaving the gate, started to pull and had to take up first time through the stretch, settled in mid-pack two wide, chased three deep into the stretch and weakened.
