Chart notes
POSSIBLEMENTE raced off the early pace three wide, steadied midway around the first turn, advanced outside down the backstretch, bid three deep rounding the far turn, took over near the quarter pole and drew clear under a drive. FLY THE W returned to the paddock for a shoe repair, trailed inside early, circled five wide around the far turn and rallied for the place. AMERICAN SPEED set the pace in the two path around the first turn and along the rail around the far turn, was collared by the winner near the quarter pole and held well enough to save the show. DRIPPING GOLD raced off the pace four wide around both turns and had a mild stretch gain. PATRIOT SPIRIT prompted the pace two wide, bid between foes midway around the far turn, continued on the left lead in the lane and faded. ANAMNESTIC chased the pace two wide and lacked the needed rally. SIR LONDON failed to menace while racing three wide. SALVATTORE PRINCE chased the pace three wide, steadied near the five-eighths marker and retreated after a half. LIGHTS OF BROADWAY was outrun inside.
