Chart notes
DEVIL'S MISCHIEF set the pace and bore out on the turn, continued to drift out in the stretch and held sway in the end. WISH MAN was four wide on the turn then bumped in upper stretch, angled inside in late stretch but hung in the end. SIR OTTO was inside and saving ground on the turn, made a bid in upper stretch but came up empty in late stretch. GALACTIC CORE was three wide on the turn then was bumped when in tight quarters then shut off and forced to angled inside in mid stretch and raced evenly in the end. RIPSTER was pinched back at the start then raced inside into the turn and was no threat. HONEST OPINION raced two wide on the turn and was no factor. a steward's inquiry was held concerning the running of the race. A claim of foul was lodged by the rider of GALACTIC CORE against the rider of DEVIL'S MISCHIEF for interference in upper stretch. After reviewing the film's, the steward's disqualified DEVIL'S MISCHIEF from first and was placed fourth for interference in the stretch.
