Chart notes
HALL OF FAME leaned out slightly at the start, stalked the top pair from the four path, bid in hand entering the lane, wrestled an advantage while being let out in upper stretch, came under a drive in the final furlong and inched clear. PRINCE OF POWER vied outside of the leader and from the three path, led as an outer rival ranged up nearing the lane, got narrowly headed by that bidder in upper stretch, fought on doggedly while hanging on his left lead into the final furlong, changed over at the furlong grounds but was bested. MULTITASK settled off of the pace in the two path, tipped out to the four path in upper stretch and ran on between horses to edge show at the furlong grounds. MOONLIGHT trailed in the three path, swung out to the five path entering the lane and stayed on willingly. OVERSTATEMENT broke a step slow, tracked from midpack while a path off of the inside, gained show from a tiring inner rival in upper stretch, but yielded to a pair of outer rivals at the furlong grounds. EGLISE vied inside of a prompting rival into the turn but faded inside of that one and a wider bidder nearing the lane. LUCENCY lacked speed in the four path, then tired while drifting to the seven path entering the lane.
