Chart notes
FORT BRAGG rated behind the speed early, stalked from the fence through the turn, slipped through in upper stretch, cleared midstretch and won going away. ROLL ON BIG JOE vied for the lead from inside, held a short lead a bit off the rail into the lane, clung to a narrow advantage at the eighth pole, relinquished the lead while drifting out midstretch and stayed on to prove second best. MBAGNICK (CHI) showed good early foot in hand vying from outside, fought three deep through the turn, bumped with inner rival at the top of the lane and weakened in the final furlong. MOOSE MITCHELL allowed to settle early then rushed up between rivals to press the pace, fought from the two path with rivals on both sides through the turn, bumped with MBAGNICK (CHI) at the top of the stretch, had the rider lose his crop at the sixteenth pole and weakened. FOR ALL MANKIND tracked in the two path, steered out in the stretch and flattened. MANITOWISH raced up close three deep, lost ground on the turn, chased four to five wide into the lane and weakened.
