Chart notes
EXTRA CRAFTY bobbled at the start, was allowed to settle, moved up steadily along the rail into the stretch, rallied under left handed urging to make the lead just inside the furlong marker and proved best under a strong hand ride. ROCKY CHANNEL trailed into the stretch, began to close ground in the three path. altered course from the three to the five path at the furlong marker bumping DANCE DRAMA and was steadily cutting into the winners advantage late. SALTMAKESHERSWEET away alertly, set a pressured pace in the two path until deep stretch then was outfinished. DANCE DRAMA unhurried, offered a mild bid three wide into the stretch, was bumped and forced outward by ROCKY CHANNEL at the furlong marker and lost momentum. MS. DEBBIE ALAN stalked the pace three then five wide into the stretch and lacked the needed response. MIZZEN THE POINT was no factor. OPIE'S GIRL pressed the pace two then three wide into the stretch, was shut off at the furlong marker, angled inside then weakened. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND THE RIDER OF DANCE DRAMA LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF ROCKY CHANNEL FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED ROCKY CHANNEL AND PLACED HER FOURTH.
