Chart notes
DOWNTOWN CONNECTOR prompted the pace through the first turn, made the lead near the eleven sixteenth pole, set the balance of the pace while getting rapid fractions, was well handled while getting out on the far turn and through the stretch and prevailed in a game effort under corrective handling while setting a new track record. BOURBON WISDOM stalked the pace three wide, drew closer outside the winner on the far turn, was carried out to the nine path, matched strides through the stretch and finished second best. HUNTER SCOTT bobbled at the start, trailed for nearly six furlongs, swung out to the middle of the racetrack and closed a gap late. THRU THE VINE never far back, moved closer two wide into the stretch then came up empty. MAYITO failed to menace. NIKOLAOU set the pace around the clubhouse turn, chased the winner along the inside into the stretch and weakened late. THE RIDER OF BOURBBON WISDOM LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF DOWNTOWN CONNECTOR FOR ALLEGED INTERFERECE ON THE FAR TURN. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS UPHELD THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
