Chart notes
DON TEQUILAS came out at the start crowding rival, forced the pace outside, took over at the quarter pole and drew off driving. PILOTE COMETE advanced four wide on the turn and finished well for the place. MAXIMUS SPEED rushed to the front inside, dueled to the stretch and faltered. ADDYSON'S DREAM stalked the pacesetters three wide then weakened in the stretch. JASIEL saved ground close up, was in tight at the eighth pole and flattened out. ATROCIOUS dropped well behind and lacked a rally. CARRY GRANT was squeezed back at the start and was always outrun. LEIGH'S LAST HERO dropped back after quarter mile, stopped abruptly and lost contact with his field and was eased in the stretch. The stewards conducted an inquiry into the start of the race.
