Chart notes
DESERT PUNK chased the leader between horses up the backstretch, came around the turn in the four path and dueled to the wire to get up for the win. GIMME MONEY dueled on the outside through the opening quarter, navigated the bend from the three path and dug in in the lane to narrowly miss after drifting mildly late. HARDY BOY raced in the middle of the pack on the inside early, continued around the bend in the two path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and dueled to the wire in tight quarters to just miss. SGT MUSKETT dueled on the inside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and continued to battle in upper stretch but gave way in the final furlong. RAIL RUNNER trailed the field up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the two path and passed tiring horses late. MARK ME IN raced in the middle of the pack on the outside through the early going, began a bid coming around the bend, entered the stretch from the five path and was outkicked from there. RIG IT RIGHT pressed the pace on the inside up the backstretch, dropped back while saving ground around the turn and continued to fade in the stretch.
