Chart notes
KING BARON tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the three path, challenged approaching the quarter pole, dueled the length of the stretch and edged clear late. TACTICAL ATTACK dueled on the inside through the opening quarter, navigated the bend from the two path and dug in in the lane, giving way late and chasing on to the wire. WHAT AN IDEA raced off the pace on the outside through the early going, began a bid from the four path coming around the turn and continued to improve position in the lane. PLAYING FIELD raced in the middle of the pack up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path and improved position in the stretch. MINISTERSDON'TLIE chased the leader on the inside early, saved ground around the bend and weakened in the lane. BIG CREED dueled on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the three path and faded in the stretch. HENNESSY'S SQUIRT veered out leaving the gate, trailed the field up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and made no bid. MENTIROSA raced off the pace on the inside through the opening stages, continued around the turn in the two path and was empty in the lane.
