Chart notes
SYNONYM prompt the early leader two deep from the outside, challenged through the far turn, clear off near the three sixteenths pole and held safe under strong handling. ALWAYS GAMBLING settled off the early pace, made a three to two wide bid through the drive and finished gamely to the wire. MARTINI MARTIN was off the early pace, raced from the inside near the quarter pole, angled out and rallied willingly to the wire. JACKIE A was unhurried early, raced six wide into the upper stretch and had not enough. WINNING DRIVE rated along to race in hand, made a four wide bid near the quarter pole, took aim into the upper stretch and weakened. TUBTIMSIAM tracked the top pair, raced three wide near the quarter pole and faded. BERKS showed good early foot to set the pace, headed just past the three eighths pole and gave way from the inside in the drive.
