Chart notes
MARK THE DATE pressed the pace between horses up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path and edged clear in the lane. BURNINGDAYLIGHT led the way on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path and was caught in late stretch. TAMMY MACHO raced in the middle of the pack on the outside early, came around the bend in the four path and gained ground late. PARK IN THE DARK raced off the pace on the inside through the opening quarter, navigated the bend from the two path and improved position in the lane. LENDA HAND raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and was outkicked in the stretch. FLAQUITA tracked the leader on the outside through the early going, continued around the turn in the three path and faded in the lane. QUEENS HALO raced off the pace up the backstretch, swung out to the four and five path coming around the bend and made no bid. AUNT BENNIE dwelt at the start, trailed the field throughout, saved ground around the turn and was not a factor. AN INQUIRY WAS MADE INTO THE START. UPON REVIEW, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT HORSE NINE, AUNT BENNIE, HAD A FAIR BEGINNING AND NO CHANGES WERE MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
