Chart notes
SONYA KNOWS BETTER trailed along the inside, took the far turn in the four path, launched progress fanning five wide into the lane, rallied to drive past the leader at the furlong grounds and drew clear. HOUSE BOURBON showed the way in the two path, met an outer challenge turning for home, shook clear of that one in upper stretch, but offered little resistance to an outer foe's challenge in midstretch and was second best. SYVESTAR brushed the gate while breaking outwardly at the start, stalked three wide, pressed under urging around the far turn, bid turning for home, but yielded as an outer rival menaced in upper stretch, vied for show with an outer bidder into the final furlong and held. COFFEE COUNTY took contact from an inner rival soon after the start, laid off of the pace in the three path, tipped to the four path entering the lane, got outkicked by an outer bidder in upper stretch, vied for show into midstretch, but flopped back to his left lead leaving the furlong grounds and hung late. PEPPER JACK settled off of the pace along the inside, took the far turn in the two path before moving to the four path entering the lane, tipped wider in midstretch but lacked a bid. REAL CITY SPEED bumped an outer foe early on, tracked in the two path, was roused in range between rivals around the far turn but tired. ORLEANS TOURIST prompted inside of the leader early on, chased into the far turn and weakened.
