Chart notes
MY NOBLE KNIGHT shifted out to the three path to stalk outside of the pace setter around the first turn, pressed before bidding while well in hand turning for home, led leaving the five sixteenths pole and drew off handily. CAT ON TIME laid off of the pace in the three path, crept closer to the top pair around the far turn, chased in the four path into the lane, gained place at the three sixteenths pole and was second best. THE PADDOCK PASTOR set the pace in the two path, led as an outer rival applied pressure into the far turn, got headed at the five sixteenths pole, proved no match and weakened. COASTAL DEFENSE tracked in the three to four path around the first turn, but was done early and eased through the lane.
