Chart notes
CONTROLLER pressed the pace from between rivals down the backside, dueled on the lead through the turn, repelled challengers bid to shake free in upper stretch and finished in a drive to be clear late in a game effort. OAKS HONEY tracked the leaders to the far turn, rallied six wide on the bend to contention, was fanned eight wide turning for home and could not reel in the winner while clearly second best. UPTOWN reserved off the pace for the first three-eighths, made an early bid rushing up down the backside to engage the leader on the turn and flattened out in the stretch unable to sustain the rally. FIRSTHAND JUSTICE raced in mid-pack in a clear pocket to the half mile pole, remained prominent through the turn while well placed and failed to respond lacking a closing kick. GONE IN A FLASH set the pace from the insidde under steady pressure and weakened on the far turn. DERBY INCLUDED was slow early to be the distant trailer and ground late without impact. ROMANTIC COWBOY raced in contention to be on the pace and was through early fading to the rear of the field.
