Chart notes
BEAUTIFUL SKY tracked three deep outside, loped along outside keeping a close eye on the pacesetter down the backside, was urged midpoint on the final turn, quickly responded moving in, loomed large four wide entering the stretch, took the lead outside at the sixteenth pole and had just enough left in reserve late to hold off the outside challenger who was charging fast in the final stages. MIA MITOLE was comfortable sitting at the back in the beginning, just begun to mount a rally but had to be put on hold lacking room at the three eighths marker, waited for the opportunity on the final bend, angled out widest in the seven path having a clear lane at the top of the stretch and flew home late but just missed getting to the winner at the wire. VRANA (IRE) was under a tight hold in the two path up front, dictated terms alone up top down the back straight, continued to travel smartly on the lead through the final bend, dug in two wide in upper stretch, could not continue to fend off the winner at the sixteenth pole and gave way late to settle for the show placing at the finish line inside rivals. FROGINAPOND stalked near the rear three wide on the first of two turns, made little movement three deep down the backside, put in a brief rally three wide from the three eighths pole until the quarter marker outside foes, shifted five wide for the stretch run but evened out in the sixteenth of a mile to settle on the fringes. DAISYCREST was tucked in on the rail behind the leader, settled in mid-division on the fence down the backside, was scrubbed on for more but was being passed outside by rivals around the last turn and had little to offer on the fence in the stretch drive.
