Chart notes
ADIEU ACES pressed the pace, saved ground around the turn, made a late rail bid and got up in time. SHARP CHARLIE vied for the early advantage, saved ground around the turn, drove clear down the lane and was caught at the wire. COPTER pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout, came around the turn three wide and proved third best. MAGIC CASTLE showed early speed, faded and was no threat late. ALTERANA raced in the middle of the field, saved ground around the turn and put forth an even effort. WISE ANCHOR lacked early speed, improved position, while racing wide, but was no factor. FLOWER CAT raced near the back in the beginning, moved up, faded and was no threat late. HUEY DUEY always raced near the back and showed little. SCOOTERANDDABIGMAN void of early speed and was never close.
