Chart notes
SEEKING SAWYER tracked from midpack along the inside, bid two wide at the three sixteenths pole and kicked away. MISCHIEF JOKE tracked from midpack in the three to four path into the turn, ranged up five deep entering the lane, but was outkicked by an inner rival in upper stretch and edged place. OVER CALENDARED broke slowly,, trailed along the inside, rallied in the two path in upper stretch and progressed to reach show late. BARON OF THE NILE leaned out at the start, led inside of a prompting rival, proved no match for a different bidder at the three sixteenths pole, yielded and lost show late. GIMME THE CANDY tracked in the three path, chased in the four path and between horses into the lane and gave way. CAJUN BLAST pursued from the five to six path and failed to menace. TOWN BRANCH vied for the lead two wide while in the three path around the turn, but weakened between horses leaving the quarter pole. LATE BLACKSMITH lacked speed in the four path and between horses into the turn, then got outrun.
