Chart notes
TURBULENT FORCE stalked the pace three wide, took the lead leaving the eighth pole, vied outside of CAPTAIN EDDIE from there and narrowly prevailed. CAPTAIN EDDIE dueled two wide, drew clear near the quarter pole, led past the eighth pole and fought on gamely inside of the winner. AMERICAN DIRECTION had his head turned at the start, saved ground off the pace, angled four wide near the quarter pole and rallied outside. INCANTO (IRE) tracked the pace inside, bid at the rail nearing the eighth pole but flattened out through the final furlong. INSURMOUNTABLE failed to menace while racing two and three wide. INSTAGO was bumped at the start, saved ground and never threatened. GALLANT KNIGHT played no factor while racing three wide. DAVOLA hit the starting gate then bumped at the start, dueled at the rail and faltered in the lane. RHYTHM 'N BLUES trailed in the two path.
