Chart notes
KVELLION stalked two deep then challenged nearing the seven sixteenths pole, took the nod two deep leaving the quarter pole, dueled clear mid-stretch and widened later yards. CASTLE OF CORK rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure leaving the seven sixteenths pole, was met at the rail past the quarter then relented in the duel through the stretch. FUNKLE raced in the three path the first turn, picked up the chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path then dueled through the stretch for third. ROARK exchanged light contact with Pedal To The Moon leaving the gate, raced in the three path on the opening turn and gave chase into the backstretch, rounded the far turn about the four path and was outfinished in the stretch duel for third. NO CONVERSATION saved ground well off the pace the first turn, gave chase nearing the five sixteenths pole and raced near the rail into the far turn, angled to the six path approaching the head of the lane and passed rivals. PEDAL TO THE MOON became anxious in the gate and exchanged contact with Roark at the break, raced in the four path the first turn and showed only mild response through the backstretch. CANDY OUTLINE was bumped leaving the gate then saved ground, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole but weakened at the rail on the far turn. MASON ALEXANDER checked off the inside flank of Roark while near the rail midway on the opening turn then proved no factor. BLAZE FOR DAZE angled out and made contact with Candy Outline leaving the gate then stalked from the three path, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole but weakened approaching the far turn.
