Chart notes
MOONLIT KISS contested even terms leaving the half mile pole, dueled clear approaching the quarter, rounded the turn off the rail and was kept sharp to hold on well. DIXIE YODELER gave chase, raced off the rail on the turn, dug in from the head of the lane and finished well to take second mid-stretch. O K SMARTY PANTS gave chase, rounded the turn near the rail and came along to take third later yards. MISS BEE BOP contested even terms leaving the half mile pole then gave chase from the three eighths, but dropped back approaching the quarter, raced at the rail on the turn and flattened in the lane. SLEWING chased through the backstretch, entered the turn about the four path, moved to the outside into the lane and showed little more. ARGAN bobbled leaving the gate then hustled to a brief lead and gave chase past the half mile pole, rounded the turn in the four path and flattened in the lane. LITTLE HOT MESS engaged in close early chase then flattened in the three path on the turn.
