Chart notes
PISTOL LIZ ABLAZEN raced in the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace outside horses down the backstretch, advanced in the three path on the far turn, secured command entering the stretch and steadily pulled away under confident handling. VODKATINI , four wide around the first turn, chased the pace down the backstretch, gained a brief lead in the two path on the far turn and faded through the stretch. ALWAYS FORWARD trailed to the far turn, circled the turn three deep, floated to the four path entering the stretch and lacked a sufficient rally. MAJOR HOULIHAN disputed the pace outside DON'T TELL DEREN and gave way on the far turn. DON'T TELL DEREN hugged the inner rail, disputed the pace for six furlongs and faltered. BEACHGRASS stayed along the inner rail around both turns and faltered.
