Chart notes
PENNYPATTER sent to assume early command, showed the way to the half-mile marker, carved out decent fractions while well handled into the turn, drifted out while a bit erratic into upper stretch, drew to a clear lead at mid-stretch and pulled away in the final sixteenth. NALA tracked the early pace from the inside, well placed approaching the turn, drifted at the three-furlong marker and put a rival in tight at that station, chased to the quarter marker, saved ground to the top of the stretch, was no match for the winner into the final sixteenth and stayed on late to be second best. CARE FOR AUTISM forward early, tracked the decent pace outside of runners heading to the half-mile pole, chased three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, contended to mid-stretch, was outkicked in the final sixteenth and held safely late for third. SENSATIONAL Z Z stumbled then veered out at the start and was off slowly, allowed to settle early on, improved position four to five wide nearing the top of the stretch, ran evenly to the mid-stretch and flattened out late. HOPING SHE WILL attended to the decent early pace from between runners, stalked two to three wide to the quarter pole, was outrun past mid-stretch and gave way late. AUTISM RESILIENCE close up in the early stages, was a bit rank while chasing between rivals, got caught in tight approaching the turn and checked at the three-eighths marker, trailed to the quarter pole and had no late response.
