Chart notes
AL'S RUBY broke in at the start, pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the three path while between foes on the turn, was put to a drive in upper stretch, kicked clear outside the furlong marker, extended the advantage under a moderate hand-ride into the final sixteenth then was placed under lighter encouragement while much the best. EMBRACEABLE GAL tossed her head and was off a bit slow, was urged along off the pace, went around most of the turn in the four path, shifted to the five then six path late on that bend, turned into the stretch in the seven path and willingly earned the place. P MUTTER PICKLE was hustled from the gate then urged along on the outside, chased in the six path for most of the turn then dropped to the five path, pursued the winner under a drive into the final furlong and weakened but earned the show. NOLITA settled on the outside, was roused in the five to six path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response. FIRST CLASS CAT dropped back while urged along, moved from the two path to the four path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, split foes into the final sixteenth and failed to threaten. HYPNOTIC FLAIR was backed in the gate, raced just off the pace, was asked in the five path on the turn and came up empty. FABULOUS FOX went to the front, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied in the two path on the turn, was given her cue near the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage in upper stretch and gave way. KAATERSKILL settled off the pace, was urged along in the three path on the turn and failed to respond. SNAPPIN BUTTONS raced just off the pace, went around the turn in the two path, lugged inward in the stretch, came in and bumped a rival outside the sixteenth-pole and had nothing left. PEONY tracked the pace on the outside, made a bid leaving the backstretch, vied in the four path on the turn and capitulated. DARN THAT SONG broke out and hit the gate, was well placed just off the pace, chased inside on the turn, dropped back in upper stretch, was bumped by a rival and checked while out of contention outside the sixteenth-pole then dropped out.
