POSTER was taken in hand early, rounded the first turn in the two path, settled off the pace, went three then four wide on the far turn, was asked near the three-eighths pole, rallied to make a bid at the five-sixteenths, took the lead at the top of the stretch, kicked clear outside the furlong marker and held under strong urging. AVIATOR GUI saved ground on the first turn, was rated off the pace, was asked in the two path on the far turn, waited behind horses starting around the five-sixteenths pole, was beaten to the punch by the winner in the process, steadied off heels nearing the quarter-pole, bumped with a rival while shifting four wide into the stretch then was roused near the three-sixteenths pole, rallied under a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker, was guided out while switching to a left-handed crop inside that marker and closed with good energy to just miss while clear for the place. TUX went to the front, showed the way on the inside, was headed on the far turn, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened but was clear for the show. STUDLYDORIGHT raced in the two path on the first turn, moved out to stalk outside on the backstretch, made a bid near the half-mile pole, was asked in the three path on the far turn then was bumped into the five path into the stretch and also weakened. KEEWAYDIN established a forward position early, raced in the three then two path on the first turn, prompted the pace on the outside, drew even with the leader late on the backstretch, took a narrow advantage in the two path on the far turn, was asked late on that bend then headed at the quarter-pole, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. GUN TRADER went four wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was urged along near the five-eighths pole, dropped back while in the four to five path on the far turn, moved to the three path into upper stretch and had nothing left.
