Chart notes
D'ORO UNBRIDLED tracked from midpack in the two path, swung out to the five path entering the lane, sustained gradual progress to bid in the final furlong, forged an advantage at the sixteenth pole and edged ahead. NATIONAL ECLIPSE bobbled slightly at the start, stalked along the inside while a path off of the rail, pursued under urging around the far turn, sustained his chase as an outer rival struck the front at the sixteenth pole and reclaimed place shortly after. WELAKA tracked three wide, stalked in striking range around the far turn, but was kept at bay by the leader into midstretch, got put to tight quarters between horses by that drifting foe while getting outkicked by an outer rival entering the final sixteenth, steadied sharply yet recovered to regain show late. COPPERMASTER saved ground well back, moved off of the fence in upper stretch and ran on. BOLTAGE showed the way in the two path while tugging in the bit around the first turn, maintained a margin from chasers through upper stretch, but drifted out while getting collared by an outer rival at the sixteenth pole, bumped and hindered a rival in the process then weakened between horses late. WICKED ROSE trailed in the two path and got outrun. TIGER MOON laid off of the path while moving out to the four path into the backstretch, chased around the far turn, floated to the six path entering the lane and faded. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REVIEWING THE STRETCH RUN RESULTED IN NO CHANGE TO THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
