Chart notes
CAPRICE made the early lead, hugged the inner rail setting a pressured pace and gradually edged away the final furlong. SAFE TRUST , outside the winner, prompted that one throughout in a game performance. ONYX TEN stalked the pace near the inner rail, eased out to the three path leaving the turn and failed to rally in an even effort. MALIBU HOOCH , three wide chasing the pace for a half mile, was fanned four wide entering the stretch and weakened. ADE stayed well off the inner rail throughout and was not a factor. MS NOTION unseated her rider when stumbling badly at the break and walked off. There was a stewards' inquiry concerning the start but no action was taken.
