Chart notes
MIRINDA away quickly to take control then was under pressure from outside up the backstretch, cleared at the seven-sixteenths pole, showed the way along the rail then two wide into the lane, held a comfortable lead while drifting out into the final furlong, lugged out approaching the sixteenth pole, came under threat from DORIE MILLER late and held in the final strides. DORIE MILLER bumped between rivals at the start, chased in the three path entering the turn, came four wide into the lane, was closest in pursuit with a furlong remaining, put in a late bid but ran out of ground. SHARP RIDE traveled in range five then four deep to the turn, remained widest around the bend and kept on to best the rest. TWILIGHT EMPIRE stalked four then three deep in the early going, spun four wide on the turn and lacked a rally. PROFESSORS' PRIDE chased briefly from inside then angled out and put pressure on the pacesetter, could not keep up with the leader on the turn, chased three wide into the lane and weakened. SATOSHI bumped leaving the gate, stalked the top pair from inside, came off the rail late on the bend and was driven three wide into the lane, then weakened down the stretch. CHASE'N KOTA brushed leaving the gate, stalked between rivals then got crowded at the half-mile pole, trailed four then three wide on the turn, eased in the lane and walked off.
