Chart notes
AMOR PATRIAE four wide while within striking distance into the first turn, stalked in the second flight up the backstretch, three wide bid in the second turn, edged clear in the drive under steady handling. LA HOULIGAN off a bit slow, moved out, advanced five to six wide through the second half of the final turn, widest in the drive, finished well to be closing the gap down the middle of the strip. BAOBAB in the second group off the inside, three wide turning into the stretch, lacked a winning kick. DREAMINBLUE in mid pack while four wide through the first turn, moved into a forward position with the runner up while four wide midway on the final turn, flattened out a bit in the drive to finish up evenly. HIGH LIMIT off a step slow, raced back early as a result off the inside, three to four wide advance between horses second turn, also went one paced through the lane. VOLT dueled up front off the inside for over six furlongs headed by the winner into the lane and began to gradually weaken. MISCHIEVOUS INTENT broke on top, set or forced the pace along the inside, also faltered in the drive. PUTTING EAGLE within striking distance while along the inside, had little left for the stretch run. WINNING CAMPAIGN off a step slow, settled off the pace, was finished after five furlongs. FULL VICTORY a bit reluctant to load, lacked speed five wide into the first turn, was also through early.
