Chart notes
COCKEYED set the pace on the inside, shook clear through the turn, drew off in the stretch and was kept to the task. SUCCESSFUL UNION tracked the pace well back, moved up inside through the turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and closed well for the place. LASTABITLONGER broke out at the start, moved up three and four wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and edged up for the show. FIRST ACT well placed and outside, moved up three wide through the turn, bid on that path into the stretch, weakened late and held a share. STEAM POWERED unhurried, moved up on the two path through the turn, veered out avoiding a rival and improved position. OPERA HOUSE A. D. unhurried, moved up three wide through the turn, was carried out into the stretch, widest and improved position. LOVE BUCKS was never involved. STAR OF ABRAHAM stalked the pace outside and stopped midway of the turn.
