BOBBY JEAN dropped from the five path to the three path early on the first turn, settled off the pace, was roused in the four path on the far turn, gained to make a bid at the quarter-pole, took the lead in upper stretch, responded well in the final furlong and just held under strong urging. LA VITA SOFIA went four wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, chased in the three path on the far turn, turned into the stretch in the five path, kept on in pursuit of the winner in the drive, gained to make a bid late and just missed while clear for the place. ENIGMATIC raced in the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid leaving the backstretch, vied in the two path on the far turn, battled with the winner under a drive into the final sixteenth and weakened while just able to get the show. DAZZY was hustled from the gate, raced in the two path while placed under a vigorous hold on the first turn, was rated just off the pace, came under urging in the two path on the far turn, chased under a drive into the final furlong and lacked the needed kick then just missed the show. FOCUS POCUS went to the front, showed the way on the inside, was asked on the far turn, lost the lead in upper stretch and gave way. STREET VIEW rounded the first turn in the two path, settled at the rear, was urged along in the three to four path on the far turn, turned into the stretch in the six path and failed to threaten. DUCKPHAT settled on the inside, saved ground while well off the pace through the far turn and was no factor. BALENCIAGA BETTY was well placed just off the pace on the inside, came up empty along the rail on the turn and retreated.
