Chart notes
GLOBAL PRIDE tracked from the two path, crept closer before awaiting racing room behind the leader into upper stretch, tipped three wide and between rivals at the three sixteenths pole, bid along with an outer rival while taking contact from that one nearing the furlong grounds, sparred gamely with that one through the late stages and wrestled an advantage in the shadow of the wire. BACKFIRE broke outwardly, pursued off of the pace in the three to four path, swung out five wide entering upper stretch, ranged up to bid outside of rivals entering midstretch, bumped an inner co-bidder in the process, dueled with that one while clinging to an advantage into deep stretch but got outfinished late. GREAT RUNNER broke a step slow and was brushed by an outer rival at the start, trailed along the inside, swung out six wide in upper stretch and ran on to improve position. FINDAWAY dueled two wide, led turning for home, inched clear in upper stretch, but was caught by an outer pair of bidders nearing the furlong grounds and faded. MANNY'S KAT brushed an inner rival at the start, stalked outside of the embattled leading pair, but faded between horses once floated four wide in upper stretch. MR. COMMANDER dueled for the lead with an outer rival around the turn, got headed turning for home and weakened in upper stretch.
