Chart notes
PORTOFINO set the pace in the two path, received a right handed cue passing the quarter, and inched clear. RUNNIN' ROCKET prompted the pace in the three path and chased home the winner while on his left lead. IF NOT FOR LUCK stalked in the two path, was coaxed along four wide around the turn, floated out to the six path at the top of the lane, and kept on. HORSEPOWER rated in the four path, angled out to the seven path in upper stretch, but made no impact on his left lead. SEAVER raced off the pace in the four path, fanned out to the eight path at the top of the lane, but was no factor. VAMOS VIEJO laid up close inside, tipped out to the four path turning into the stretch, but faded. VLADISLAV trailed in the two path and never threatened. BE HERE NOW chased inside but weakened.
